MPS to be Host Site for Rural Oklahoma Rocket Camp

McAlester Public Schools is proud to serve as the host site for Rural Oklahoma Rocket Camp, but please note, this camp is not an MPS program. It is operated by the Pervasive Parenting Center (C.P.R.C.), which is contracted through the Oklahoma Department of Education and Vocational Rehabilitation.
This FREE opportunity is designed for students who have an IEP or 504 Plan and want to build skills that support future independence and success.
Camp Options:
1-Day Camp – Ages 10–13 - June 24
2-Day Camp – Ages 14–22 - June 25 & 26
Students will focus on:
Pre-employment skills
Workplace readiness
Communication and teamwork
Transition skills for adulthood
This hands on camp creates a fun, supportive environment where students can build confidence while preparing for life beyond school.
